Nice work the interaction is a phenmena. BUT...I hoped I could drive around in an area...but I am sure this will be possible in the future..or it already is and I am not (yet) quite getting it...Thanks for your contributions I have been following for quite some years...I will use (and) post them..

Me: You can drive around with Rover R11. Click on the arrows of the yellow or green frame around the live picture. Top arrow drives forward, bottom arrow goes into reverse and left or right turn the rover around.

and also the picture taking camera

if on this place on the edge it is easy to fall and damage the robot completely

Me: There is a small "fence" and the rover has bumpers that avoid the robot from falling over the edges.

problem is that this version with this camera only takes pictures. i don't like that way at all

the actual camera from the retired curiosity pi is a live recording camera
should you replace picture taking camera with the recording camera

because i hate when pictures are taken from this r11 rover

Me: This project is meant to educate people rather than to entertain. Transmitting still images makes the software side more simple and so better to understand.

Great work prof.
First i though its picture then after 2 minutes i saw oil truck on the street.  :D

Me: Thanks!
The robot transmits a series of still images to your browser which is why it takes a couple of seconds until you can see what the transmitted command did. Driving around is a bit like commanding a rover on a distant planet.

awesome idea mate.... but unfortunately it was very laggy being controlled from Australia but i will keep checking back in for some fun.....

Me: Thanks!
Well, there couldn't be a longer distance between my RoboSpatium and you - the signals are going around the globe. Furthermore, in the evening hours now here in Germany there is much traffic on the line.

Spiegel).

How do I move it, I couldn't find the user guide

Me: Sorry, the user guide is still under construction. Here comes the simple version:
1.) Press "OK" and enter your user name
2.) Press on the Yellow frame around the picture to drive the Rover e.g. top right angle moves forward right

Nice, but can't wait so long for control release.

Me: Shortly after releasing a video, there is usually indeed lots of traffic in my Robospatium...
